The Story Behind the Work

Summer Love was created in the heart of summer, with the studio windows open to the sea breeze and music playing in the background. Gabrielle layered soft pastel tones with bursts of gold leaf to mimic sunlight dancing on the skin. The process was fluid and instinctive – each brushstroke guided by joy rather than plan.

This piece speaks to the beauty of spontaneity, freedom, and emotional connection.

The Making Of

Gabrielle uses a mix of acrylics, metallics, and textured mediums to bring depth to her abstract works. Here, she worked in multiple layers – allowing each to partially dry before adding new energy on top.

You will notice gold foil details delicately embedded into the surface, adding both texture and luminosity. Every mark is intentional, yet organic.
